Set in its own private rainforest garden for the ultimate in peace and privacy, a few short steps from our 12 metre solar heated salt-water swimming pool and with spectacular views in every direction, Hillcrest Cottage feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but enjoys the convenience of being close to a range of activities and beauty spots.

With real wood fire in the lounge, Hillcrest Cottage is ideal for a mid-winter romantic interlude and a perfect honeymoon destination. Other facilities include split system reverse cycle air-conditioning, stereo wide-screen TV, DVD, stereo system with CD player, a fully equipped kitchen with full size gas stove and microwave oven, fridge, toaster and all kitchen equipment. To take full advantage of the views to Springbrook and the Cougal Mountains, double glass sliding doors lead from the lounge to your private verandah ~ where you’ll find your own gas BBQ, sun lounges and outside dining suite for alfresco dining.

Separate from the lounge you'll find a QS Bedroom, huge ensuite bathroom with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate oversize shower, heater, hairdryer, robes, candles and a selection of toiletries.

Cottage guests can either choose to fully self cater or have their kitchen stocked with our full brunch basket, including some of our famous home-made bread and free range eggs.

Hillcrest is centrally located to 5 World Heritage Listed National Parks, horse-riding, golf, joy-flights, scenic village drives, arts & crafts markets, galleries, boat excursions, Harley motor-bike tours, pristine beaches, untouched rainforest and more. We have extensive local knowledge, a wide range of tourist information on-site and will gladly help you plan the best things to see and do during your stay in our beautiful Tweed Valley.

Only 12 minutes easy drive from the centre of Murwillumbah, 35 mins from Gold Coast airport, 80 mins from Brisbane and 45 mins from Byron Bay, Hillcrest is your ideal location on the far North Coast of NSW.
